I am honored and excited to be appointed principal of Arrow Academy of Excellence Elementary School. I have 24 years of experience as an educator in Memphis City and Shelby County Schools. My philosophy of education is that all children can learn, grow, develop, and succeed, and that every day brings the opportunity for learning something new.

I received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Elementary Education from Memphis State University (The University of Memphis). I obtained my Education Specialist in Administration and Supervision, and my Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Union University.

As principal, I am committed to serve all stakeholders – students, families, faculty, staff, and community members to establish a safe and effective learning environment with high expectations for teaching and learning. My goal is to continue our motto of “Achieving Academic Excellence”, by developing students’ intellectual capacity, academic skills, and social competences to prepare them for this ever-changing world.

With my solid foundation and passion for achievement I am ready to serve the “Arrows” of Arrow Academy of Excellence. I am enthusiastic and prepared to contribute my knowledge and leadership abilities in doing what is best for the students here. I look forward to getting to know the students, teachers, and staff and significantly developing powerful partnerships with parents and the community.
